Drafts box says there are 2 in there, but there is NOT!

Why will my draft folder in my mail not clear out the count? It says that there are 2 emails in my drafts folder, but there isn't and they have been sent. I cannot get this count to clear out. Any ideas?

iPhone 3GS 32GB using Shure SE420 earbuds, Windows XP Pro, Dell 3.4 Ghz Pentium D 3 GB DDR2 Ram, 1.2 TB HDD

I'm having the same problem. My Drafts section says there is 1 unsent draft but there are none. I even deleted the Mail account and then re-created it and the draft still shows up. Did you figure out a solution yet?

I did find a work out for the refresh of this data. Apparently, the cached information is only cleared out after you have saved an outgoing email and then open it on the iPhone to either delete or send. I regularly open my email on both the iPhone app and Google. I wonder if this confuses the App on the iPhone.

I do the same. I figured out another workaround that didn't require me logging in to Gmail.

I began creating an email in the iPhone Mail app. Then I tapped the Cancel button. It asks you if you want to Save the draft, which I did. This caused the message to appear in my Drafts, and now the Draft count was correct. When I sent the Draft, it lowered the Draft count back to 0, which is what I wanted all along!

This is exactly what I did and apparently did a bad job explaining. 🙂 I guess I was trying to say too much in too few of words.
