iTunes store in Guatemala

A year ago two phone companies in Guatemala brought the iPhone as it was lauched worldwide, but its use is kind of restricted when it comes to iTunes Store because for Guatemala there only exists an app store. Does anyone know if Apple is planning to lauch the complete iTunes store sometime soon??? I even try to open an account using a bank account I have in the US and because my location is Guatemala it does not work. 😟
