Did Apple just give us a tangle-free headset?

Not really sure what about the new headset makes it "tangle free" but I'm not having any problems with it tangling! 🙂 The wire is quite flexible, not rigid like other headsets.

I've been noticing that it's much improved over the 3G! I toss my headset in a pocket on my day pack when I'm not using it, and the earlier headset cables would always get tangled. The 3GS headset cables work much better.

I don't think headphone manufacturers can control tangling wires, since that really depends on how you, the consumer, handles your earbuds...

For example, kinking them up, or placing them in your pocket all wadded up.

I doubt that's what Apple was shooting for when they designed the earbuds, but it's positive at least.

well unless you manage to tie it in a knot, yes i think they did a better design on that little thing that holds the left and right earpiece wire together, it snaps away. good job apple!

Not only that, the new headset sounds remarkable. MUCH better than earlier versions!
