Wireless Keyboard/Mouse under Windows 7 RC + Boot Camp

You're not the only one. I have the same problem (with the white wireless keyboard and mouse).

They are indeed work with windows 7 rc even x64. It's just the pairing process is very very hard, I have tried to pair like in an hour just to get them working. My suggestion is keep trying, They do work.

i am having same problem with windows xp and wireless mighty mouse.

It worked for me at least (windows 7 and Vista) with the Apple wireless keyboard and the wireless mighty mouse.

1) Switch off the device you want to pair
2) Select "add a device" in the Bluetooth menu
3) Switch on the device (after few second it should get detected by windows)
4) Now, right click on the device and select properties. You should now get a window with the different services.
5) select the HID drivers for keyboard and mice and click OK (this is the important part)
6a) In windows 7 it should setup mouse and keyboard without any additional input
6b) In Vista continue with the normal pairing procedure

I had the same problem trying to connect my Apple Wireless Keyboard to my PC running Windows 7. It could see it but would time out when trying to configure it. The previous solution of right-clicking Properties didn't work for me. What did work was:
1. Click Add device
2. Switch on wireless keyboard and select it when it appears
3. Click Next and while it says 'Connecting to device' type a pairing code on the Apple Wireless keyboard (e.g. 1234) and push 'Return'.
4. Windows 7 recognizes this as a pairing code and asks for the same code to be entered. (note: you need to use your existing wired keyboard to enter the code, not the wireless keyboard)
5. All done!!

Looks like Windows 7 gets a bit confused with the pairing process for this Keyboard. But this is to be expected because Win 7 isn't exactly OSX....

Here is the problem I have with the Mighty mouse and slim wireless keyboard.

Both paired with out a problem and drivers installed. But the Mighty mouse will lose connectivity after 20 seconds of the mouse being in active.

I have to click the mouse button to wake it up and it will work again. Even in the blue tooth manager in Windows, it says it's disconnected. Once I click on the mouse I see it connect. Even in Device manager, I can watch it disappear as an HID Mouse after 20 seconds. Then as soon as I click on the mouse, I can see it reappear in Device manager.

As for the keyboard it will pair, but any input on the keyboard results in nothing. It's paired and I can see the keyboard in Device manager as an HID device, but no input at all.

I received my Magic Mouse yesterday, and discovered that I have to reinstall it every time I boot into Windows.

Yes, it's hosed.

After reading your post, I found out that we can actually go to Device Manager -> Bluetooth Radios - > Apple Built-in Bluetooth -> Power Management, untick the option to "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power"

I have a 2008 Mac Pro and the retail version of Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit. Out of all of my wireless devices only the wireless apple keyboard(the one before the 2009 model) isn't pairing. But, I seem to have a different problem here. When I went to install bootcamp drivers 3.0 I noticed when Windows was installing the Apple Bluetooth Driver, it said "DEVICE DISCONNECTED". This is strange, as I can install all my other bluetooth devices, except for my wireless keyboard?? If it helps, My wireless Apple Keyboard is the one that shipped with the G5, but it does work perfectly in Mac OS X 10.6.1

I am only using this due to my carpel tunnel, as the thin smaller wireless keyboards don't provide comfort for my fingers.

Turning off the Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power worked for me with the Apple Bluetooth keyboard and mighty mouse.
