VHDL design on a Mac?

I have not found a better place to post this question.

Basically, I am very surprised - Apple is designing a lot of harware and yet I could not find any EDA tools that can be used to design hardware on the Mac.

Could anyone tell me if such software is available for a Mac? If not, I am really surprised that Apple does not ship the tools that they use internally as a software product.

Mac Book, Mac OS X (10.4.9)

I don't see anything else for OS X. You would probably need to use Windows versions of Cadence or other products, either on a PC or on a Mac running Windows. I suspect that is what Apple does (if it uses such software).

If you want to know what Apple uses, best to try contacting them directly, since the forums are just users like yourself.

I think it would be somewhat foolish business-wise to worry about the OS when selecting the best tools available for the work they have to do. But let us know what you find out...
