I don't have a labtop or a computer at home. All I have is my iphone and then when I'm at someone's house I'll use there computer if I need to do anything to my phone extra that you can't just with the phone itself. With that being said I've been trying to get updates on apps and download music on itunes but everytime I try it says "Tap continue to sign in to view billing information" I know my credit card on file is right and there is plenty of money in my account so I don't know why this is happening. It doesn't have the option to "tap continue" it only has an "okay" button. I really need help with this!!

iphone 3G, iPhone OS 3.0

I would go to a PC and recheck all my billing stuff in my iTunes account and make certain all is in order. You may have missed something tiny 🙂 It can't hurt to check and make sure.

I just fixed this problem. Sort of.

It was caused on my end by a charge from iTunes being declined by my debit card. You need to get to a computer, open iTunes, sign in. Check your billing information, make sure it's correct, and look down at the bottom and see if it says something along the lines of 'allow iTunes to charge this card for your outstanding balance of X'. If that's not your problem, then I'm not sure what to tell you, other than good luck.

Hi,
i've figured out what to do as no-one would help me either, but you really do need a computer.

You need to sync your ipod to any laptop or computer, then once it's all loaded, click the 'store' button at the top of the screen. Then click on 'View my account (Your email is here).

You do this, and then type in your itunes password.
This takes you to a screen which says with lots of options to review your account. The one you want is 'purchase history'.

It will tell you what you've purchased etc, and how much they cost. In red it says something about you owe a balance or something, anyway, there should be a box saying that you agree to it or something, and you might need to go to the option on the screen after you've put in your password that says edit payment information.

I'm really sorry, but i've forgotten the excact details.
So it's either purchase history, or edit payment information. You just click done at the bottom of the screen adn it's sorted!
