How do I log into a different account in iTunes from my iPhone?

Having trouble logging into new account. When I go to by something in the store, it automatically prompts me to put in password for my old account that I can't access anymore.

iPhone OS 3.0

You can't, on your iphone.

You need to sign into the account on your computer, then sync your iphone. The account info should transfer to your iphone.

That's incorrect. You can use multiple iTunes accounts on with iPhone 3.0 software. From the main page, scroll to the bottom and click on the button with the account name. You get options to view the account or sign out. Sign out, then sign in with another account.
