Real Guitar 2 - No Sound

Hello experts,
I was finally able to use Real Guitar 2 as a plug-in for Logic Pro 8 after 'wrapping' it using a VST to AU Adapter from FXPANSION. However, no sound comes out. Can anyone please advise how I can successfully use Real Guitar 2 as a plug-in. Other tracks with other instruments have sound, only the track where I use Real Guitar 2 as a plug-in doesn't have a sound. When I press on the keys, I see the the notes changing in the Real Guitar 2 interface, so it's only the sound that's not coming out.

Real guitar comes as an audio plug-in.. And it works fine.There is no need to use a VST to AU converter. You must be doing something wrong..

If you installed it correctly go look in Audio Units components folder

Mac HD/Library/Audio/Plug-ins/Components/RealGuitar2.component

If it is not there, then you have a corrupt installer, or a buggy OS. Run a disk utility if need be or get in touch with MusicLab

Next go to Logics AU manager. You should see it in the list.. Check it to make it available to Logic.

With Real Guitar - you need to load in a set to strings to hear it.. In the upper center of the plug-in - click and hold, you will see several different sets of strings to load, select one.

I did find the RG component, but when Logic Pro first detected it, I got a message that it couldn't be used. Anyway, now I can add it as a plug in.
I located the little rectangular shape in the upper section of the plug in where I can choose the guitar string. However, when I click on the box, I don't see any option no matter on where I click on the box. Any idea why I don't get any of the string options?

So you do not get this dropdown when clicking on the (highlighted) rectangle where it says 'select guitar'?

If not, then I guess the soundlibrary is not installed. Since it consists of two files of over 500 MB each, you should know if you installed them. They are probably in the RealGuitar folder within the applications folder.
