Can I use a PCMCIA card on my MacBook?

I'm will to be traveling to coast of Maine and staying at a house that has no wired internet connection and is not reached by any wifi network. Here's my question: Can I use a PCMCIA network access card on my MacBook? All help would be appreciated.
