Disappearing Contacts with Ringtones
Just got my new iPhone 3G and have an interesting problem.
I have the contacts being synced up with a Microsoft exchange server which works great. But when I add a ringtone (built in or added) to a contact, the phone instantly drops back to the main contact list and the contact is gone!
What is odd is it never syncs the deletion with the exchange server, just gone from the phone.
Tech Supports suggestions where Reset, try another ring tone, and finally reset to factory defaults and start again (Which I am putting off).
Does anyone else have this experience, or a solution, or perhaps a different way of assigning a ringtone to a contact other than through the contact menu?
Info: iPhone 3G 8GB, V3.0 (7A341), Phone is only 2 days old
