iphone unable to connect to itunes and not working after attempt to upgrade

helpppp i search in the support area of the problem solving place, they told me to connect my iphone to itunes and restore it but since i have the passcode lock and my iphone can't do anything right now itunes cant read it unless i unlock my phone.

i have a pictue of the itunes logo and a usb cable telling me to plug it in but there is no way to make i tunes read it because it is locked.. help i need to use my phone in the next few days!!!!

Since you are unable to unlock your iPhone - the passcode lock entry screen is not available, try placing your iPhone into recovery mode. If successful, this will require restoring your iPhone with iTunes, which you were trying to do anyway.

Is this computer the same computer that you normally sync your iPhone with?

when i have restored my iphone, then i tunes says, "The sim card in this iphone does not appear to be supported. Only compatible sim cards from a supported carrier may be used to activate iPhone."

what should i do now i can't get to the information place or when i right click my iphone from under the devices catagorie ato the left, it only appears to say eject.

thank you for helping so far and trying to guide me out of this problem 😀

You're welcome.

Are you using an iPhone that was hacked to be unlocked for use with any provider's SIM card? It sounds that way and if so, restoring an iPhone that was hacked to be unlocked re-locks the iPhone to the designated carrier the iPhone was sold as carrier locked with when new.

i'm in canada right now, and my brother bought it for me in a phone comany called rogers, so i have to find the certain card from rogers and then put it in the phone.. or if my brother bought it from usa, then i'll have to find one from at&t?

and if so, does it have to be that excat same card or just the same brand?
