Peter;
I've been trying to put a border on a text box with no luck. In Inspector I select Text>Borders and Rules then I hit the 'add a border around the paragraph' button. All I get is a line above the paragraph, though if I then make the box big I do see a line below the paragraph but no side lines... at all. When I try with a shape box I have no problem putting a line/border around the box.

To put a border around a Text Box, open the Graphic Inspector>Stroke and choose the size of the stroke or a picture frame. The Text Inspector>More>Border and Rules will put a partial border.
Select the box and go to the Graphic Inspector and under Stroke choose Line and then the color and point size. Or you could choose Picture Frame and then select the frame you want.
Then go to the Text Inspector and adjust the Inset Margin.
Follow the chain of steps as I typed them, ">" is the next menu item or heading in the particular Inspector panel. You progress from big down to small in order.
Peter;
That worked, thank you! I was thinking that when working with a text box you only get to use the text tab in Inspector. Your path sets that right...>>>simple.
