Mouse stopped working...

Hi. I've been using the SteerMouse application for quite some time, but when I re-installed it today, I believe I might have installed an older version that does not recognize the majority of today's mouses. So now when my Mac Mini starts up, it says it can't locate any mouse and so I can't use it.

So how do I fix this problem? I can't login to my account and delete Steermouse because my cursor doesn't work!

To be more specific, when the Mac starts up, the Bluetooth Setup Assistant pops up telling me it's trying to 'find' a USB or bluetooth mouse.

Any help would be appreciated.
