ICS file location?

Hello,

iCal has just become a lot more confusing for me... today I wanted to drag and drop my calendars from one computer over to another via a network connection, and can no longer find the .ics files for each calendar. Where did they go? Locating and moving them about from computer to computer used to be easy, thus I could use iCal on both of my computers. Now, the "calendar" folder in my user library is empty. Searching for the calendars only comes up with old ones created when I tried importing them to my ipod months ago using iSync.

Anyone know where these ics files have gone, or what their equivalent is now?

thanks,
max

Hi Max,

The files are in user>Library>Application Support>iCal>Sources. Here there are several folders with long numeric folder names. In these folders are files names corestorage.ics. These are your calendar files.

I had an Applescript somewhere that pulled individual .ics files to the Desktop and renamed them with the calendar name. If you would find this helpful I can post it.

Best wishes

John M
