"Other" memory increasing and nothing helping.

I have had my iPhone 3GS since 6/19. Everything was going fine til recently. I saw that after adding movies to my iTunes and iPhone my "Other" memory on my phone increased. It started at the normal "Other" memory amount but then it jumped to 7.14 GB memory. I did restores and downloaded the newest software and installed it again and now the "Other" memory has gone up again to 11.09 GB. Nothing has helped at all.

I read that others with this problem usually had a corrupted file and the restore helped but for me it did nothing. I deleted all my music and just unsynced my video and now my "Other" memory just jumped to 22.08 GB!!

Somebody please help me. Should I go to the Apple Store tomorrow?? I am thinking I have to go there cause something sounds seriously wrong.

Mike

PS I should add that I am a developer for iPhone and have the newest beta for the iPhone 3GS.

Apple iMac, iPhone 3GS, Mac OS X (10.5.7), iPhone 3GS, developer software on the phone.

Ok so I did a restore from the iPhone 3GS itself (erase all media and settings) and then restored from the backup I had and that seems to have fixed the problem.

What I did notice was that my "Other" memory was increasing if I changed the sync setting while in the middle of the sync and clicked sync or apply. It would increase a bit and then after a while would go back to the normal 210 MB amount it should be at.

I am thinking somehow that part about going back to normal was not happening and it was just gradually increasing the "Other" memory amount.
