Hi, I still have clock funtionality (alarms go off, etc.) but the only way to access the clock is by searching on the word "clock" using the new search feature. The icon has disappeared or is lost, leaving a blank spot on the home screen. This did not occur immediately following a sync. Rebooting doesn't restore the icon. I haven't had a chance to re-sync yet but just wondered if anyone else had this issue. You're not supposed to be able to delete the clock icon and it's not a choice under "Restrictions".
Try resetting your iPhone by pressing the home and sleep buttons until you see the Apple logo, ignoring the slider. Takes about 5-15 secs of button holding and you won't lose any data or settings.
If that doesn't work, you'll have to restore, either as new or from a backup.
Eureka! It was on a new extra page all by itself at the back. I thought I had three pages so kept checking those three and didn't even notice a fourth page had been added with just that one icon.
What a dope. Your question made me realize what happened. Thanks!
Now you've also discovered how some of us 'hide' the native (and non-delete-able) apps that we don't want cluttering up the home screen(s) - move them to their own page at the back.
Good idea. How does everyone feel about that new search screen being the first page? Sort of feels like it should be the last page. But I assume it's not moveable? Having said that, I know I should start using it more because it is really fast.
