Burning CDs from i tunes of Audible audio books

I got part way through burning CDs of the audio book in i-tunes when i-tunes stopped asking me for a new cd before it got through the total book. Is there any thing I can do to come back in itunes and pick up burning Cds from the point I had made CDs, or am I stuck with listening to the balance of the book on i-tunes with my i-pod touch.

You can select the audiobook from the list view and select 'Get Info' from the File Menu. Click on the 'Options' tab and choose your start time. The CD will start burning from this time. Each complete audiobook CD is 80 minutes, so just do the math and start from where you left off.

Don't forget to set the start time back to 0:00 when you finish burning your CDs.

Hope this helps.

Audible Books have their own DRM (Digital Rights Management) to try and prevent sharing and copying. So their books can only be burned to CD once. However, it is a none problem on their end that burning their books to CDs has issues. Because of this you can call audible and explain that you have tried to burn to CDs without success and you have only partially burned your book. They will then let you download a new copy which will give you permission to burn again. I have done this a few times with the same book as the burning process had a very high fail rate. Also, try slowing down the speed of your burn.

I hope this helps.

Yes, the first guy at audible books last week told me to get iTunes to help me. What a laugh that was. The girl I got today sat on the phone through burning 3 CDs. She was extremely helpful and I now have a full audio book downloaded! She removed my original version and put a new one in for me to download. This time iTunes burned it correctly. Thanks to all!

I don'k know if this helps but I usually put the disk in and wait. I-Tunes ask if I want to import the disc. I click NO. Then I create a folder and drag the book to the folder. As soon as the first track starts playing, I press pause up in the music player. The tracks load quickly and I get a musical tune when it's done. Hasn't been a problem. The only problem comes in with track names which I fix later or create sub-folders. Hop it helps.

I tried to set the start time and burn my audible download from there, but now I get a message saying my book "cannot be burned because Audible tracks can only be burned once". Earlier I tried to burn it starting over and got a second CD with the first 10 tracks again. Now I have 2 CD with the first part of the book and none of the rest. Any ideas??
