Delete Hidden Rows?

Is there a way to delete all hidden rows?

Thanks for all the suggestions so far everyone, but it's really not feasible to do manual deletions with this table. It contains a log of literally hundreds of entries which I am whittling down to a few dozen matching entries and then need to do some extra calculations on before sending it out. I can work around it for now, but this missing feature (which I have already requested) would greatly enhance the process.

Thanks again!

While I don't have a way to delete them all in one fell swoop, you can make it easier to identify them by adding a new column and making the cells in that column checkboxes prior to unhiding the rows. The hidden rows won't get checkboxes so they'll stand out when you unhide them, making the deletion process easier and less error prone.

If this is a big job with a lot of non-contiguous rows to delete, you could go a step further by using the reorganize panel to show only rows that have a blank in that column then select those rows and sort on the column (selected rows only, not entire table) to group them all together. Un-filter the table and you can then delete the "hidden" rows in one deletion.

Badunit's suggestion can be enhanced by the fact that drag-fill skips hidden rows if done in the same table.

Hide the rows (if the top row is hidden, then add an empty non-header row above it).
In the same table, add an empty column, say column C.
In column C, in the top non-header cell, enter text such as "not hidden".
Select the cell and on the bottom-right corner of the selection box is a circle, drag it down.

This copies the text to all the visible rows in the table. Now unhide the all rows, sort by column C, and delete the block of rows that have blank cells in column C.

Hmm. I just realized something that probably makes this easy: Mark for Move, only moves the visible data.

Insert a blank table.
Select all the cells in the table with the hidden rows.
Press Command-Shift-x to mark the data for move.
Select a cell in blank table.
Press Command-Shift-v to finish the move.

Now the new table only contains the rows that were visible. If you unhide the rows in the old table, you can see the rows are still there.

Excellent! That'll do it! :?)
