Removing "iMovie" and Apple logo from Menu screen

Welcome to the Apple Discussions. The theme you're using is Revolution, right. In the menu there's a title text box that says iMovie. It is what will be used in the revolving text. Change that to whatever you want to be displayed. The theme you're using is Revolution, right.

You can remove the Apple Logo under iDVD Preferences, second one down in General Tab.

Is there a text box in the menu containing iMovie? If you were to create a new, blank project using the Revolution theme the text box would contain Revolution Main and the spinning text would be the same. So you need to find the title text box in the menu that contains iMovie and change it.

Not sure this is what you want, but if you click on "Revolution Main," you can change that text to anything you want, and it also will be changed on the spinning tube thingie. Also, if you click on the drop zone icon (middle of screen, on the right), and drop a picture there, it also will show up in the cylinder.

I would like to remove the theme completely. The "Help" menu explains the steps to take to create an autoplay movie. However, it seems one must first create a new project and not when the project is launched from iMovie. I'm sure it is a really simple action as I cannot believe that Apple would force one to use a theme. Could someone please advise?

New to iDVD. I just removed "iMovie". Selected it. Hit the delete key and and it vanished in a cute puff of digital smoke.

iDVD is designed as an authoring application, but its options are limited and built-in. If you need more versatiIity, and are willing to spend time learning a new method, you may want DVD SP.
For your current question, it doesn't matter what theme you initially select, if you don't want one, set your project to have the DVD play immediately. No menu/theme will be seen.
Go to your iDVD project's Map view and drag your iMovie from its current box into the first one that says to 'drag content here to automatically play when disk is inserted' and you rmovie will start right away as if it has no menu.

When the movie is finished, the themed menu will come up unless you set the movie to loop, or devise a black screen--see these for ideas:
