Slight water damage in ear speaker

Almost started crying when I reached over and put my glass of tea on the table and some sweat dripped off the glass and onto my iphone. It dripped right into the ear speaker. I turned it over and turned it off so the "little" bit of water could drain out if any got into it.

But my question is.... It sounds a little softer when I'm on the phone. It could just be in my head but is there a way I can test the volume? I have it all the way up currently and it's still soft. "I think"
