iPhone Calculator

Are you by chance hitting = twice. If you keep hitting equal it keeps dividing each answer by the last number entered. For instance 64/8=8 =1 =.125. Nothing wrong with your phone. You are just hitting = too many times.

the square root of 25 is 5 ... 5 divided by 5 is 1.

Off topic, but try turning the calculator sideways. 🙂

A further issue is that in Scientific mode the calculator can find the Logrithm of a number, but not the Anti-Log (ie convert a Logrithm back to a number). This makes decibel & other engineering calculations very difficult.
I had hoped this would be fixed in V3.0.

Have you checked the app store for specialty calculators for your profession?

If I enter "25 / 5 =" I get 5. and "64 / 8=" I get 8. However, if I enter "25 / 5 ==" I get 1, as I should.

If you need to do scientific calculations there are plenty of good calculator apps, including an HP-15c actually sold by HP!

That is exactly what I was trying to tell this guy. Apparently he is hitting = twice.
