Songs Ending Early in iTunes

Hello, Same thing is happening to me. Some songs, purchased or ripped, stop abruptly with anywhere from 30 sec to 2 mins left to play. Itunes jumps to the next song. The entire song is there, evidenced from ability to play on other players. Most odd and irritating! Any help would be appreciated.

I've had that too. Apparently it is a bug in iTunes. If you don't mind fussing, it can usually be solved by converting the file to AAC or to an MP3 at a different bitrate.

All my songs are ripped using audio grabber(1.83) and the latest version of LAME (3.98). I recently have experienced this issue more often, I have been updating from 128->192 quality. Winamp has no problem playing any of these. Also my IPOD Touch has no problem playing these. Itunes needs to have its decoder fixed or maybe they should switch to LAME. I hope some apple rep sees and responds, because I feel like itunes is becoming unusable, in that almost all my songs encoded at 192 have this problem.

I've been having this problem, too - came on here to try to figure it out! Except, this happens on both my ipod and itunes. It seems to destroy new songs every time I sync up.
