Final Cut Pro Vs Proshow Producer

I have been a long time user of Proshow Producer by Photodex http://www.photodex.com/products/producer.

I have recently changed over to a Mac and I am looking for a equivalent software for creating a professional slideshow backed with music for my clients (wedding photographer)

I have tried iPhoto, iDVD, iMovie and so on, and found they are lacking in a few things.

I’m now looking at Final Cut. I don’t mind spending the money if it will don what I want. I will ****** if I fork out and find its not as good as the $250 Pro show.

Has anyone made this transaction and can you give me any feedback (befinits of one over the other)
