Items in the library not copied because they could not be found.

Hi. I have *itunes 8.2.0.23* on *Windows Vista* and the majority of my files sync to my *ipod Classic 160 GB* just fine, but some of them will not synch. I can see them in my library. I can play them in itunes, but whenever I try to synch them, it says they cannot be found. +"Some of the items in the itunes library, including Gilmore Girls 320, were not copied because they could not be found."+ I have restored my ipod multiple times. I have also tried deleting the files (from the library as well as completely) and re-adding them to the itunes library, but they will not synch. It keeps saying they cannot be found. Does anyone have any suggestions?

HP Pavilion dv6000, Windows Vista, 2 GB RAM. iTunes 8.2.0.23

If your library is on an external hard drive, make sure it's connected to the computer properly. Then, if that doesn't work, try going to the "store" menu in iTunes and deauthorize your computer. Then authorize it again. Also, if that doesn't solve your problem, try re-creating your iTunes library and playlists. Instructions here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1451
