Creating a zipped folder

Hi all. I need to create a zipped folder in which I want to save a PDF folder with photos in it and also a word doc. This is for a course I'm doing. Basically i need to save both doc and pdf into one folder, zip it and send it. ANy ideas how I create that zip folder to put the other files in?? Thanks

Hey there,

Try this:

1. Open "Finder" and navigate to the file(s) you wish compress.
2. Highlight the file(s) you wish to compress.
3. Control-click or right-click on the selected file(s).
4. Select "Compress filename."

The compressed file should now appear in the same folder and will have the same name as the original, but with a .zip suffix.
