Using car speakers for phone calls?

iPhone 3GS.
Is there some kind of device that would let you use the car speakers to listen to phone conversations?
If so which one would you recommend?

I can't use a bluetooth headset and the iphone speaker is not load enough for me.

Thanks

My car doesn't have any AUX inputs, but it actually has a tape deck so I've been using a tape adaptor to listen to my iPod for the last six years and now that I have my iPhone I'm listening to the iPod on it through the adaptor. It works fine with calls (although I actually unplug it and use the phone normally for the call, as I think it's weird to have a conversation with a voice coming at you from all sides through the speakers).

Would that option work for you?

I'm curious why not. Early on I thought I couldn't either: Only one good ear and I needed it to hear non-phone stuff. But the Motorola H-700 I bought did not cover my ear or go into the ear canal so it worked out fine.

Now I use a BlueAnt Supertooth 3 and its built-in speaker/mike which works great with the iPhone 3GS.

mine does that too (very strange) but i just hit the home button which takes me back to the home screen.

You are right, but for some reason the Voice control screen comes back after a few seconds.
Another issue is that when connected to the Aux of my radio I loose the microphone on the iphone...
How did you work out this problem?

Thanks

Hey evansls, I'm using the Kensington LiquidAUX Bluetooth as well. I've been having a problem with it though. When a call comes in, it automatically answers the call even if I don't press any buttons on the phone, remote, or base unit of the Kensington. Have you noticed this problem too? I'm trying to figure out if it is a compatibility issue, or if I just got a defective car kit. Thanks.

i don't have that problem of losing the microphone when the iphone is connected to the aux in the radio. when i attach my iphone to the aux (through the headphone jack) the voice control screen pops up, i hit the home button and continue to use the iphone as i normally would.
