Quick Look Server using nearly 100% of CPU for extended periods

Hi

I added a few thousand photos and videos to a folder earlier today, not opening the folder, and continued working on my machine. I noticed that things were running slowly and found under Activity Monitor that Quick Look Server was using nearly 100% of my CPU resources! Since various programs, including Safari seem to rely on using that service (in Safari's case, it's the Top Pages 'feature'), it seems like you have no choice but to reboot (or kill the process, who knows what will happen then).

Haven't noticed this before, so I'm guessing that it's a 10.5.7 bug.

P.S. Yes, I'm writing this in Firefox, because I can still start it up!
