Query on those DNS codes

Hi, just wondering if those DNS numbers are relevant to Mobile Wireless USB modems (if you are familiar with the kind I mean - just plug into USB port where ever you are) or are they meant only for use with a wired modem or Airport running through a router.

Also, if so, then would you delete the existing DNS numbers from your own IP after adding the ones suggested in these forums?
