Long delay in finding wireless after sleep...

Often up to two minutes. I am running a late 2008 MacBook and have an Airport Express. Other devices (old PowerBook and iPhone) find network immediately. The system log is giving the following error.

This continues for at least another two minutes or so, until resolving with:

I'm getting the same issue. It's been going on for about an hour now. I've tried restarting, refreshing and everything short of kicking the machine.

Hello there,

Just want to add my name to the list of people experiencing this problem. Also posting in this thread here: http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=9833523

I purchased my mac late 06'.

I have booted into my Windows bootcamp installation, and the problems persist. This makes me think that it is not a software issue, rather a hardware one.

Do you have any update on this probem? I'm getting the same issue today... MBP 13 with 10.5.7.... Don't even know how to donwgrade, since my install disk is already 10.5.7....
