Repair Disk?

I got this message while mounting a DMG file:

Repair Disk

This computer was unable to repair the disk "RS Application", so the disc is
available with limited functionality. Make a backup of your data and format
the disc again as soon as possible.

What does this means?. Please help!

MacBook Pro 2.33, Mac OS X (10.5.7)

Note: The RS Application is the DMG file

If you originally downloaded it from the Internet, download another copy, and if that produces the same message, contact the image's creator. If you got it from another source, ask the person you got it from for a fresh copy.
