You can't disable GPRS without disabling the phone. GPRS is required to at least make a phone call. Your data plan is unlimited, so what are you worried about data charges for?

You certainly do not need GPRS to make a call, I remember when no phones had GPRS and they made calls just fine.

Not every ones data plan is unlimited , some providers charge GPRS by the minute rather than by the KB making this a serious bug.

Hmmmm....aside from the fact that "noiphonedata.com" does not appear to currently be available, I am just a little sceptical that clicking a button in a website on Safari can effectively change the settings on the phone.

As to whether it counts as a "serious bug" I don't know. These pages are not exactly crammed with messages about the inability to disable GPRS, so how big an issue is it?
