western digital 7200 rpm drive
my macbook will not ,see, this drive ,.
I have tried it on another machine and it works . During installation of the o/s it is not seen nor using disk utility is it seen .
The only diffrenece that i can think of and i have not tried is removing the case that holds the removal tag from the old H/D and adding it to the new one ?
The official apple instructions do not mention having to do this nor do western digital??
any other ideas why it isnt being seen . > ps i formatted it using g parted on the other pc > still no joy
