Second question of the day: How do I archive SMS messages

My boss asked if it is possible to archive SMS messages for SOX reasons. I know AT&T can block SMS messages at an account level. Are there any tools available or ways to run SMS through a proxy on a corporate server?

I don't know about the answer to your last question, but you can use this utility to export and archive SMS messages from an iPhone's backup. SMS messages are included with the iPhone's backup that is created and maintained by iTunes as the first step during the sync process.
