hp 1200 laserjet,website?

Hi,
Just got a used hp 1200 laserjet printer,scaner no cd or manual and can't get it working! my buddy used with his PC, a Dell Lap top but, I can't get it working with my Ibook when I try to print the yellow light on the 1200 starts blinking.....and nothing happins! the 1200 shows up in the print window as hp 1220, could this be the problem,
I down loaded the drivers and installed them from hp(the web site is not very easy to use!) not going there again!

Try changing the default printer.

If this doesn't work, try the Panther printing support page.

The blinking yellow (amber) light could also mean that the toner cartridge has not been installed properly. Pull it out and re-seat it.

I have a HP LJ 1200 printer (no scanner) connected both to a PC via parallel and to a G3 BW Mac via USB (working as a printer server also for other Macs connected via Ethernet and WLAN as well). It should show as "LJ 1200 series". Or is your printer/scanner model called LJ 1220? Then your settings would be accurate. For the website try www.hp.com, a manual download should be available there.

BUt, after all the time I spent I turned it in to a recycling co.
thier going to get it a good home someware...
