Page Setup stuck on A6 size

A couple of months ago I printed a bunch of labels using an A6 size page. Since then, every time I print, it defaults to A6 even though have changed it to US Letter every time AND set US Letter as the default size in the Print & Fax preference pane. How can i get US Letter to stick?

Hi there. I have a couple of questions first.

1. When you are working with a document in any application, does it show its size as LTR or A6 via the applications Page Setup?

2. If the document appears to be LTR, how do you know that it is trying to print A6. Does the printer prompt you to load A6?

If the application does appear to be LTR, then a reset printing system could help resolve this.

1. Open System Preferences > Print & Fax
2. Move your mouse over the Printers list
3. Hold down the Control button and click the mouse (or right click if supported).
4. Click "Reset printing system ..."
5. Restart your Mac

This will remove your printer queues but not your printers drivers. So you will need to add your printer queues again.
