iPhone sync to my laptop over bluetooth

I am trying to pair up my laptop with my iphone. But it won't let me do that. It paired only once and then now I don't think that it is working anymore.

I have HP tablet tx2000 laptop with 64 bit Vista Home Premium installed. I have iphone 3G with 3.0 OS installed on that.

Also, I was wondering if I can connect my iPhone to my laptop through blue tooth and then will my itune recognize it? It will be nice if I don't have to physically connect the iPhone every time but still I can sync it with my iTunes.

Let me know if you guys know anything about my situation.

Thanks.

Thanks for your answer.

Can you tell me how can I pair up my iphone with my laptop? I paired it once for file transfer (transferring my pictures), but now it is not recognizing in my iPhone. My iPhone can recognize my laptop really well but when I want to transfer a pic, I am having the same problem. It says that those are not paired up.

What should I do? Any suggestions?

Looks like Apple needs to do lot of work in their blue tooth category. They say that it comes with blue tooth but if it can't do photo transfer from iphone->Laptop or vice versa then its useless. As it can't do anything other than connecting headset at this time 😟.

I hope Apple is dedicated to take input of customers like me to make their product better.

Thanks,

The amount of data iTunes would transfer to the iPhone would be huge.

If you are planning on using the blue tooth sync to transfer photos I assume you would want to sync it with iTunes as well (using blue tooth). The purpose of using the USB cable is to make sure the phone dose not die during the data transfer (plus it's faster).

Blue tooth uses quite a bit of the battery power during telephone calls. I have a feeling if you were doing this (if this feature was available on the iPhone) your next post would be blasting the battery life while using the blue tooth feature.
