Transferring Pictures from Motorola V220 to my iBook

Just like the subject says, I need help with this. I called Apple Tech Support and the guy had no clue. I have a USB plug that's supposed to work with my phone and the USB port on my laptop, but the comp isn't recognizing the phone. Anyone know where I can find some better info on how to transfer pictures? That's all I want to do (iSyncing is not an option - and someone has mentioned that to me). PLEASE HELP!!! Me being a semi new user to iBooks, and digital camera(-phones) I need major help.

Hi there,

I have a similar problem and after having had a good search round on the web, have yet to find a simple, free solution.
However, there is a piece of software available that would appear to do what we want.
I have not taken the plunge yet, but I am seriously considering it.
The software is called DataPilot.
Heres the web address.

Hope this helps.
