Exporting section of mix

Exporting section of mix

In Soundtrack Pro 1.1, is there a way to export only part of a mix? I've tried setting in and out points and making selections, but it just exports the entire mix anyway. The only thing I've been able to do is 'Set end of song', but I still have to export from the beginning of my mix then.

Is there any way to do this?

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.5.6), 2.4GHz, 2GB RAM

Does anyone have an answer for this? I'm finding it really frustrating... have to first export entire mix and then cut it up into sections in Final Cut Pro. Surely there must be a way to do it in Soundtrack Pro?

Are you talking about the Soundtrack Pro user manual? It ends on pg 311. I've searched the entire manual, but it doesn't even say anything about in and out points and exporting sections of a mix

Soundtrack Pro v2, it's available under the help menu.

OK- sorry about that- my version of Soundtrack is still called Soundtrack Pro, even though it's version 1.1. Will post on the other forum
