iphone 3g not working with navman s50

i have a iphone 3g which used to work perfectly with my navman s50 for my hands free via blutooth. since the ver3.0 upgrade it doesnt work anymore.
any help would be appreciated as i have tried pretty much everything i can think of and read about.

Could you be specific about what you mean by "it doesnt work anymore", and "tried pretty much everything"? If you posted on a car support forum only that your car doesn't work anymore and you tried everything, do you think you would get a useful answer?

sorry i guess i should have been more specific. well prior to the upgrade whenever i was in my car and the phone rang it would automaticaly be picked up by the navman, the initial setup and pairing when i purchased the iphone 12 months ago was really simple and had no probs.after the upgrade i noticed it wasn't working so i tried to re pair the devices, and they just time out, cant find phone on navman, phone will find navman but wont conect.
what i meant by trying everything was that i have gone through the original procedure several times and searched through a few forums looking for help.
i have reset the phone's network settings to factory to see if that made any difference, but nothing ! not sure what esle to try ?

Try Settings > General > Bluetooth > (your device - small blue arrow) > Forget This Device. Then attemp to pair. If still having problems, see this Apple support article:

I have a Garmin and not a navman btw, but with the same problem.

The "Forget this Device" hint really didn't work either. Well, after about 20 times of Forgetting, Resetting the iPhone, trying to pair again it finally worked.

It worked for less than a day, but then the two became disconnected again.

This is very frustrating. It use to work perfectly. After the 3.0 upgrade... not anymore.

yer ive tried all that and the same result nothing works
ive read all the help files on the apple help and set up site and none of that works either.
up untill the 3.0 upgrade worked perfect now its useless i use it all the time as i drive around alot with my work
pretty anoyed !!!!
