DJ Keith,
There is a feature in itunes that allows you to
cross-fade between songs.
You can access this feature by going to edit>preferences>playback tab, (its the first check box with a slider next to it.)
you can activate the feature by checking the box and moving the slider bar next to it, (its split up in increments of one second and has a min of one second and a max of twelve seconds) when your satisfied just click ok to save your settings.
Another option is to use a program like audacity, its a free program that allows you to edit the most common formats of songs like mp3.
You can find that program just buy doing a google search for audacity (its the first link that will appear in the results)
The only downside is that you need the *"lame mp3 audio codec"* so you can export mp3 files.
You can find that by simply google searching for: lame mp3 encoder and your operating system.
When you have the codec just point audacity to where ever the codec is stored on your computer. (it should ask for the location of the codec when you select export as mp3 for the first time.)
When you install audacity convert that 15:00 min song in itunes to mp3 (if its not already) you can do this by selecting the song, left click the selected song and from the drop down menu click create mp3 version.
When that is done simply drag the mp3 version to a common place on your computer and remember where you put it so you can import it into audacity (I suggest your desktop).
Now go into audacity and click project>import audio (or ctrl+I) and find the mp3 version of the song, you just created, and then edit the song until your 100% satisfied with it.
If you need help on how to edit the song go to the help menu in audacity and click contents from there you can learn everything about audacity and its features/ toolbar button functions.
When your done editing go to the file menu and click export as mp3. Make sure you have the "lame mp3 codec" before you export the file as a mp3 song or the program wont let you export anything as a mp3.
When that is done simply find the file and drag and drop it back into itunes.
Hopefully one of the two suggestions I've provide will solve your problem
Best of Luck,
DJ FX
