Possible to use a 1GHz PowerBook G4 (12-inch) to power an HD TV?

I'm currently using my 1GHz PowerBook G4 (12-inch) to watch TV on an old CRT television (using an EyeTV tuner). I'm thinking of getting a full 1080p HD TV but this model of PowerBook only supports 1600x1200*

I know I won't be able to get the full 1920x1080 HD TV resolution, but will my PowerBook be able to display TV at all on something like this?

I don't know enough about how such devices handle input of lower resolution... Maybe it's not a problem and the TV will work fine, but simply at a lower res with the PB as a source.

Any advice? (Other than "use a more powerful Mac" - one day!) Thanks in advance.
