Has anyone had any experience using Mac Fix It Pro (MacFixItPro)? I get the Version Tracker Mac OS X newsletter daily and they have quite a bit of good information in them. They have a subscription service for $24.95 (troubleshooting & resolutions to problems) or $59.95 (the $24.95 items + software update tracker for a specific machine). From what I've seen in some of the articles, they seem to know their stuff. I just didn't want to pay for their service if it's merely what I'm getting with Apple Discussion.
Can anyone shed any light on this subject?
iMac 19", iMac 24", MacBook Pro 17", iPhone 2g, iPhone 3G,
Mac OS X (10.5.7),
Also: Win2000, XP and Vista
I would check if the information found on the MacFixItPro newsletter is accurate, by asking experts here as well. Occasionally they do sensationalize the long threads on Apple Discussions to make it out as if a real bug exists, when really, the end user did not do enough troubleshooting. Ask what troubleshooting can be done to solve your situation. I'm sure someone here would be more than willing to help.
