Podcasts playing too fast tempo

I have a new and strange problem. Some, but not all podcasts are playing at too fast a tempo. These same podcasts play just fine on the computer from which I am syncing the iPhone. And some podcasts are just fine and play normally. At first, I thought it was one specific podcast- where at least 3 episodes demonstrate the issue, but I was just listening to two other podcasts, and they both were playing at a sped up rate.
