iMovie gets stuck while openning/ start up

Question

iMovie gets stuck while openning/ start up

I am having trouble using iMovie 09. I try to open the program and it gets stuck. Does anyone know how I can fix this?

imac, Mac OS X (10.4.11)

gets stuck forever? or just a very long pause.

is your hard drive 90% full?

I'm having the very same issue. Just updated to iLife '09 and iMovie '09. I've kept up with software updates. Still just get spinning wheel and have to force quit.

Very frustrating.

iMovie 09 needs Leopard.

If you have already upgraded to Leopard, run Software Update to make sure you have 8.0.4.
