System Profiler XML files....

Hi All,

I'm wondering if anyone could tell me what sort of software they use for Network Inventory on their Mac networks. I am in the rather long and lengthy process of collating details of all macs, hardware and software installed across 2 offices (about 70 macs).

Does anyone know any software that can ease with this process, ideally being able to import Apple System Profiler .xml files for ease. As I'm sure your all aware 1 - 10 macs is pretty easy but as our network grows, keeping track of all our liscences, macs and associated info (IP's, Mac Addresses etc) is becoming tiresome.

Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks.

Yes, I know it's already in XML with Apple's weird .spx extension (System Profile XML)? I would rather not code a system around this if I can avoid it. Do you (or has anyone for that matter of fact), had any experience of web based network inventory systems that are a) Compatible with macs or b) Can import these .spx files.

Thanks for the prompt response though - I had read through the link you posted just prior to asking this question - glad we're on the same lines here.
