I know Adobe doesn't officially support it but I've been running the CS2 suite under Leopard on 3 different Macs now with no major issues. On my newest (MBPro 2.88) I've had it installed for over a month; today for no apparent reason I've been unable to launch Photoshop CS2 (I've included the error report below). No other CS2 apps have been affected; have tried repairing prefs, running fsck, logging in as diff user -- no dice. I'm away from home so a reinstall ain't gonna happen until next week, but I need to use it now. Any idea what could have caused this out of the blue? The only recent change to the system was when I trashed the Library>Preferences>SystemConfiguration folder recently to troubleshoot a wifi issue...
Yes I did, no conclusive help there. Adobe's not supporting CS2 tech support requets either, apparently. Just hoping somebody knows what that error code might mean...
A very odd solution. I was able to copy the application file from my work Mac via screen sharing and replace the one on the laptop. Started up fine. I've heard of corrupted prefs and permissions, but not an app itself going bad.
