Mercedes + iPhone: Not getting address book on screen.

Hi,

I have a 2010 Mercedes GLK 350 with the COMAND interface. I synced my iPhone 3G with the car via bluetooth, however the address book did not transfer. When I receive a call, I only see the numbers and no caller ID. How do I transfer the numbers from my phone to the COMAND system?

This used to work with my 2001 Mercedes 240 perfectly.

Have you tried Settings -> General -> Bluetooth -> (name of Mercedes device) -> Sync Contacts? If the two devices are compatible, you will get this setting.

I do not have this setting. When I press on the arrow associated with my corresponding Mercedes device, i only have the option to "Forget this Device."

I think you may need to pursue the Mercedes side as opposed to the iPhone side.
