It's actually "Logic Studio 2.0"...

Just a quick note for clarity's sake:

Logic Studio = Logic Pro 8, Mainstage, Soundtrack Pro 2 etc

Logic Studio 2.0 (for that is what it is officially labelled as on my serial number info):-

Logic Studio 2.0 = Logic Pro 9, Mainstage 2, Soundtrack Pro 3 etc

So, we'll need to refer to current versions as either LP9 for the current Logic Pro application, or LS2 for the current Logic Studio 2.0 bundle.

Does that make sense?

Note: I don't miss the massive, manual-laden heavy box of the previous versions but I do miss a PDF manual. It seems like this is gone for good, with the full manual being in the Online Help system - I always found the Help application slow, unwieldy and clunky. The lack of a PDF manual like previous versions is the first negative point of the update for me...

Rosebook Pro, Logic Studio 2.0, SD3, AMT8, MCU, LCXmu, Keymap, Mac OS X (10.5.7), Yeah baby!

No PDF?

There are PDF's of the printed stuff that comes with the upgrade (links as already posted by other people) - but there isn't a main PDF manual like the LS manuals, with the new features. The manual is now an online help system within Apple's Help Viewer.

You now, the one that takes ten seconds to open a page... 😟
