Post Itunes 8.2.1.6 install
After letting itunes update itself, I found no access to my two DVD drives.
After looking over the web for info, I found other people had Itunes modified their registry. I found a reg edit file to correct this problem on the net. Now I have full access to the DVD drives, even in itunes. How ever when I start itunes it says I need to re-install itunes to fix a problem with the registry. I can not seem to get itunes to install using windows settings. I have had to re-run the registry edit to allow full access to the drives after each itunes 8.2.1.6 install. I'm glad I haven't spent the money for ipods yet. For the time being I'll stay with MP3 players and Yahoo JukeBox. Win XP Pro, SP3: no other software has an issue with the DVD drives, before or after Itunes updated to 8.2.1.6.... Thanks, I don't want to sound one sided, I've just been assemulated by the borg.....
