Autofill with VERIZON

When I use Safari (IMAC) to get to www.VERIZON.net and do email - it will not Autofill with suggested email addresses. Both MAIL (set for my verizon mail) and Firefox (www.verizon.net) work perfectly with Verizon. Is this a fixable issue with Safari or not fixable with Verizon?

Thanks.

I MAC, Mac OS X (10.5.7), Leopard

This isn't something that needs fixing. The Mail program on your Mac is completely separate from the Verizon (or any other) web mail service. Unless Verizon provides the functionality on the web to autocomplete email addresses, and you have your entire list of contacts stored in their system, this will never happen.

There's no reason you can't send and receive email through Verizon by using Mail.

There seems to be some confusion here. Mail has no autofill function; it does have an autocomplete function, which is drawn from your contact in Address Book and your Previous Recipents. Firefox has an autfill function for filling out forms.

If you normally get an autocomplete function with Verizon's web mail service in Firefox, but not Safari, then it's due to Verizon designing their site for Windoze. You need to complain to them about that, since it's not something that Apple or Safari have any control over.
